Since starting my cattery in 2021, scooping litter boxes has been part of my daily life 365 days a year, with no days off. 😂 With multiple cats and many litter boxes to clean, I was sometimes scooping several times a day just to keep everything fresh.
By 2022, the repetitive motion had taken a toll on my hands, and I developed tendinitis. That’s when I started looking for a better solution and discovered @catlinkglobal . After doing my research, I ordered my first CATLINK automatic litter box in April 2022.
As my cattery grew, I saw how much time and repetitive hand movement it saved me, so I purchased 5 more in 2023. They’ve been part of my routine ever since. 💙

Why I recommend an automatic litter box 🐱✨
1. Free up your hands
This is honestly the biggest reason for me. 😂 Instead of constantly scooping throughout the day, the litter box takes care of most of the repetitive work automatically.
2. Great for multi-cat homes
If you have multiple cats, you already know how quickly litter boxes can get dirty. An automatic litter box cleans after use, so the next cat has a much cleaner box waiting for them.
3. Traveling is so much less stressful
Of course, I still recommend having someone check on your cats when you’re away, but not having to worry about someone scooping the litter box multiple times a day makes traveling so much easier. ✈️🐾
4. Helps control litter box odor
Because waste is removed shortly after the cat uses the box, it doesn’t sit in the litter for hours. That can make a noticeable difference in odor, especially in a multi-cat home.

⚠️ One important note from me as a breeder:

For kittens, I personally recommend waiting until around 4–5 months old before transitioning them to an automatic litter box.

Young kittens are still very small, curious, and developing their litter box habits. I prefer starting them with a regular open litter box first and making sure they are completely comfortable and reliable with their litter habits before introducing an automatic one.

Once they’re older, bigger, and ready for the transition, an automatic litter box can be such a game changer. 😂💙
